For Shadow in the Window © Magazine:

We will read your piece in hard copy but ultimately we need your submission as email text. Prepare your submission in a word processor or text editor, then copy and paste your story in the body of your email. Sorry, no email attachments.

Title your email "sitw submission." In the body of your email, at the top, type your complete name. If you want to use a pen name, type the name you wish to appear in the magazine after your title this way: "Title of Your Work, by Your Pen Name."After your title and pen name, type the word count. Some word processors will count for you. For Microsoft Word users, click Tools, then Word Count. Please do not count spaces. Submissions must be less than 2,000 typed words.

Due to the overwhelming number of submissions, please allow five to ten business days for a response. We pay a flat fee of $25 after acceptance.

Shadow in the Window© is published as a magazine. Although we expect to have an e-zine format available, we currently do not publish electronic issues.
